This quilt features a print of the germanic "Valknut" knot surrounded by striking red celtic runes, as well and celtic knots and other patterns. "The term valknut is a modern Norwegian compound word meaning “knot of those fallen in battle,”" The Valknut is often associated with Norse God Odin.
This quilt features a triangular top stitching pattern. Combination cotton and polyester top with soft and jet black minky backing.

(Mom, I thought that you should be aware that while researching the meaning of the Valknut I also came across this... "The valknut has seen some use by White supremacists. The Anti-Defamation League notes that "nonracist pagans may also use this symbol, so one should carefully examine it in context rather than assume that a particular use of the symbol is racist." This was the second to last entry on the wikipedia page, but for some people this symbol DOES have that negative association. I just wanted to make sure that you were aware of this.)
